NextGen missions is designed to bring together the next generation of world changers through giving to Speed the Light and BGMC.

Speed the Light provides our AG missionaries with modern transportation and communication tools, enabling missionaries to reach remote and underserved communities with greater efficiency. Similarly, BGMC empowers them with resources to address critical needs, including education and ministry supplies that relate to evangelism and discipleship. By channeling funds through Speed the Light and BGMC, individuals and churches contribute to a dynamic network of change-makers, amplifying the impact of our missionaries as they spread hope and share the good news of Jesus Christ.

This collaboration of NextGen missions bridges the gap between generosity and action, reflecting a collective commitment to creating a brighter future for all in Jesus.

NEXTGEN MISSIONS TOUR 2024

EVENT DETAILS

The week of September 15th, OYM, and OKM will be traveling the state of Ohio on a NextGen Missions Tour- to bring the vision of what God is doing in this generation, raising a missional generation and seeing God at work. This tour aims to get as many pastors, leaders, and students as possible to one of these meet-ups for an opportunity to envision and dream for the future of STL and BGMC. At every stop listed below, there will be a free meal and a great time of fellowship with our national NextGen Missions & BGMC directors.

This year’s tour is focused on the AG Foster Care Network.

You can choose whichever date and time is most convenient for you; we have a lunch and dinner opportunity most days! All we ask of you is that you register at the link below so we can prepare.

SPEAKERS

ERIC HOFFMAN

Eric Hoffman was appointed to serve as director for Speed the Light in January 2018.
Eric served as district youth director (DYD) for Illinois for three years, giving to Speed the Light increased by more than $300,000. Prior to serving as DYD, he was a youth pastor at Abundant Life in Alton, Illinois — one of the Top 20 Giving Churches for Speed the Light during his tenure.
“Eric and Liz have a strong record of cultivating generosity and a passion for missions,” says General Superintendent Doug Clay.
Eric and his wife, Liz, have three children.

DAVID ALEXIEFF

David Alexieff has over 20 years of experience in children’s ministry, serving in two local churches (Stone Church, Yakima, WA & Summit Church, Bozeman, MT). He has most recently served as the NextGen director for the Montana District for the past 3.5 years, overseeing both children’s and youth ministry. Under his direction, Montana NextGen ministries have flourished, with BGMC and Speed the Light growing by over $500,000 combined! David’s heart is to raise up and disciple the next generation, developing in our kids a heart for missions and sharing the love of Christ with the lost. David has been married to his beautiful wife, Felicia, for 22 years, and they have a 13-year-old daughter, Jocelyn.
“David and Felicia will be an integral part in stewarding this amazing ministry and raising up the next generation of missions givers and goers.” -Eric Hoffman
